Altrincham is full of independent shops and boutiques that make it stand out from bigger towns. Head to the Stamford Quarter for a mix of high street favourites and smaller independents, then wander into Goose Green, a tucked-away square filled with quirky cafés and bars. 

For unique finds, visit local boutiques such as Utility and IDAHO for gifts, clothing and accessories you will not see anywhere else.
