Introducing a more powerful way to train on the reformer

This spring, we are excited to introduce a brand new class to the Sabai timetable: Reformer Power.

Designed for those who enjoy a slightly stronger challenge, this class blends traditional Pilates principles with strength and endurance focused programming. It keeps the precision and control that Pilates is known for while encouraging your muscles to work a little harder.

If you already enjoy Reformer Pilates and are looking to push your strength further, this new class offers a fresh way to develop your practice.

What makes Reformer Power different 🔥

Reformer Power builds on the foundations of traditional Reformer Pilates but introduces longer strength sequences and exercises designed to challenge muscular endurance.

You will still move with control and focus on alignment, but the class places a stronger emphasis on building strength through the body. Spring resistance is used to create powerful movements that help activate multiple muscle groups at once.

Strength training the Pilates way 💪🏼

Unlike traditional strength workouts that focus on lifting heavy weights, Pilates strength training focuses on controlled resistance and precise movement patterns.

This approach helps develop functional strength, meaning the kind of strength that supports your posture, stability and everyday movement.

Who Reformer Power is for 🌿

Reformer Power is ideal for those who already feel comfortable on the reformer and want to explore a more strength focused session.

You do not need to be advanced, but it helps to have some familiarity with the equipment and basic Pilates movements.

As always at Sabai, instructors will guide the setup, adjust springs and offer options throughout the class so you can move safely and confidently.

A new challenge for your routine ✨

Trying a new class style can be a great way to refresh your routine and keep your practice feeling motivating.

Reformer Power offers a different experience from standard reformer sessions while still staying rooted in the Pilates method. It is a great option if you enjoy feeling challenged while maintaining the mindful approach that Pilates encourages.
